Este motor de excelente calidad cuenta con un cuerpo de metal altamente resistente, fuerte y duradero.
El eje del motor tiene forma circular y cuenta con una longitud de 21 mm y un diámetro de 5mm. La salida del eje puede ser adaptada para múltiples usos. El motor cuenta con 4 conectores con cables de 30 cm de largo.

El Moto Monster shield es capaz de controlar 2 motores de corriente continua o 1 motor paso a paso de hasta 30A. Usa 2 puentes-H VNH2SP30 de ST Microelectronics.
Es una versión mejorada del Motor Driver Shield Ardumoto. Para este monster shield se reemplazó el puente L298 H con un par de drivers de motor full-bridge VNH2SP30. También se mejoró el circuito de soporte por lo cual esta placa es capaz de manejar un par de motores de alta-corriente. El VIN y motor out están preparados para los terminales screw de 5mm (no incluidos), haciendo fácil conectar cables de mayor grosor.
Cuando se utiliza en aplicaciones de alta corriente, mayores a 14A, es necesario mejorar la resistencia térmica con un disipador de calor o ventilador y soldar los cables directamente a la placa en lugar de utilizar un terminal de tornillo. Sin embargo, cuando se utiliza este shield con corrientes de hasta 6A los chips apenas se notan tibios.
