Interfaz I2C para display 1602
Adaptador I2C para LCD basado en el chip PCF8574 que es un expansor de puertos I2C.
Se puede conectar el adaptador a través de cables o directamente gracias a sus pines de conexión.
Ideal para proyectos ambiciosos en los que el número de pines para el LCD es reducido por lo que mediante el uso del adaptador I2C solo necesitaremos de dos pines SDA y SCL para controlar el LCD ya sea 16x1, 16x2, 20x4.
Cuenta con un potenciometro de ajuste que regula el contraste de la pantalla y un jumper de conexión para el blacklight
Cuenta con tres pines (A0, A1 y A2) de direccionamiento, podrás tener hasta 8 adaptadores en el mismo bus sin problemas de colisión entre ellos.
Características
- La interfaz I2C es una gran mejora, liberando muchos pines en el Arduino para una funcionalidad adicional. Funciona bien con el LCD1602 y LCD2004.
- Los módulos se pueden conectar en cascada hasta ocho. La dirección del dispositivo se puede modificar haciendo un cortocircuito en A0 / A1 / A2. La dirección predeterminada es 0x27.
- El módulo utiliza el PCF8574, que permite a la mayoría de las MCU implementar la expansión remota de puertos de E / S a través de dos buses bidireccionales (I2C). El dispositivo incluye un puerto cuasi-bidireccional de 8 bits y una interfaz de bus I2C.
- El contraste es ajustable y el potenciómetro azul se gira en sentido horario para mejorar y en sentido antihorario para debilitarse. Con el control de potencia de la luz de fondo, puede establecer si se conecta la potencia de la luz de fondo a través de la tapa del puente.
- La pantalla LCD1602 / 2004 original requiere 7 puertos IO para conducir. Este módulo solo necesita 2 puertos IO para conducir, lo que puede ahorrarle 5 puertos IO.
